Elite Fuel Service was founded by Curvin Swartzentruber in November 2001. With Curvin's helpful, outgoing persona, high standards of serving the customer well, and providing quality fuel, word spread quickly of this new company...and Elite Fuel Service exploded with growth. As the sole owner and operator, Curvin quickly found the need for help.

In January of 2002, Curvin hired his first employee – a secretary who played a key role in taking orders and keeping the office work organized...and in December of 2002 he hired his first oil truck driver to help with fuel deliveries. In September of 2003, the first service technician was hired and our service department was born in an effort to provide a full-service fuel oil company. Since then, we have never looked back.

Curvin’s background in business management and extensive experience in oil delivery services was a great benefit and a factor in starting a successful business. His high level of integrity and cheerful, upbeat personality made it easy to attract and retain many new customers.

Curvin founded Elite Fuel Service with the purpose of providing better customer service for the many oil consumers in Berks County. We believe our success hinges directly on providing a high-quality product along with superior customer service.

We strive to treat our customers the same way that we would like to be treated. We ask all our staff to take responsibility and "ownership" of their jobs and promote a team-oriented work environment where we all care about the customer first, but also the sustainability of the company. We aim to empower all of our team members to make good decisions for the customer and for the company regardless of their role.

Elite customer service continues to be our primary goal as we continue to grow, and we look forward to providing the best oil and propane delivery and service in Berks County.

We are proud to say that we are still one of the few remaining full-service fuel companies locally owned and operated in Berks County. The owner and all employees live and serve our local community right here in Berks County. You can usually find us participating at the local Oley Fair in Oley, PA each year, as well as other local events throughout Berks County. We strive to make our community a better place to live and have fun doing it.
